Funeral services for Vernon Larson, 52, of Onawa, who died May 6, 1968, at Burgess Memorial Hospital, were held at 2 p.m. May 8 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Onawa.

Rev. Gerald Gundersen officiaed and burial was in the Soldier cemetery under the direction of Pearson Funeral home.

Mr. Larson was born July 14, 915 at Ute to James Peter and Bessie Belle (Dorothy) Larson. He had been a salesman for a feed manufacturing firm and had resided in Onawa since 1950. Prior to that he had resided at Ute and Moorhead. He as a member of Trinity Luthern Church.

He was married to Mavis Lund on March 15, 1936 at Denison.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Judith Ann (Clifford) Harding of Whiting; a son, Eldon Dennis Larson of Kansas City, Kansas; a granddaughter and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Ruth (Martin) Kelm of Pasadena, California.
