Lonnie L. Sick, 73, of Omaha, formerly of Onawa, died March 20, 2014.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, in Westlawn Hillcrest Memorial Park. A celebration of life lunch gathering will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at LaVista Keno Hall Banquet Room, 7101 S. 84th St., in La Vista, Neb. Lonnie would expect nothing more than casual attire. We will be sharing memories of him in one of his favorite places. Arrangements are under the direction of Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park Funeral Home in Omaha. Lonnie was born on July 25, 1940. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband and father. He was a kind-hearted, towering man with a gentle heart, deeply respected and admired. He will be missed.

He is survived by a daughter, Sandra (Charles) Howell; son, Vernon Anderson; grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Mitchell, and Andrew; and siblings, Charles Sick, Elsa Martin, and Leo Sick.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Sick; and brother, Ernest Sick.
