Mrs. Gladys Alberta Daugherty, 40, who moved here recently from Onawa, la., died Sunday in a hospital following a lingering illness.

Surviving are the widower, Charles; a daughter, Virginia; a son, Eugene, and her mother, Mrs. Daisy Morris, all of Sioux City; five sisters, Mrs. Erma Hall, Veronica, Ore.; Mrs. Audrey Jensen, Mrs. Iola Hawkins and Mrs. Edna O'Connor, all of Sioux City; Mrs. Edrie Collins of San Diego, Cal., three brothers, Robert Morris of Hornick, Orville Morris of Earlham, Ia., and Donald of Denver, Colo.

The Pearson funeral home of Onawa has charge of arrangements.

The funeral of Mrs. Gladys Alberta Daugherty, 40, who moved here recently from Onawa, will be held at 1:30 p. m. Thursday in the Christian church in Onawa. Rev. Homer Watkins of Sioux City, will officiate and interment will be in the Belvidere cemetery in Turin, Ia. The Peatton funeral home of Onawa is in charge of arrangements.
