Funeral services for George Warner Sanford, 83, who died from injuries suffered in a fall through an open cellar door Sunday at his home, 216 29th street, will be held at the Methodist church at Mapleton, Ia., at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Mapleton cemetery.

Mr. Sanford was born March 17, 1863 at Delphi, Ia. He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Geddes, S. D., of the consistory at Yankton, S. D., and Abu-Bekr Shrine and Knights of Pythias here.

He was a member of the Methodist church
