B. F. Kelley, Retired Mapleton, Ia., Farmer Dies, Aged 84 Years

Mapleton, Ia.—Special: Benjamin Franklin Kelley, 84, a retired farmer and resident of Monona county for the last 40 years, died Monday at his home here after a short illness. He was born November 14, 1861, in Cedar county, Ia.

Survivors include a son, Arthur, fire chief at Mapleton and owner of a fleet of trucks, and a daughter, Lillian Kelley, also of Mapleton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Christian church here. Burial will be the St. Clair cemetery at Ute, Ia. The Byers funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
