Bessie Dorothy Larson was born April 16, 1880 in St. Clair Twp. and died in the Onawa hospital March 25, 1958, after a long illness.

She is survived by three children. Harvey of Ute, Vernon of Moorhead and Dorothy (Mrs. Martin Kelm) of Hawarden, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one brother, Mark Dorothy of Ames, and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Taylor of Onawa.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Her parents were Perry and Phoebe (Booher) Dorothy.

Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Christian church. Rev. E. E. Epperson of Onawa and Rev. Elmer Hodge of Ute officiated.

Burial was in St. Clair cemetery. Pallbearers were Wenzel Kohout, George Weller, Roy Cunningham, Rollin Kelley, Jake Kluver and Floyd Shipley.
