16 April 1946Mrs. Bromander, Whiting Resident, Dies Unexpectedly
Whiting, Ia. — Special: Mrs. Hilma Bromander, 80, of Whiting, died unexpectedly Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Olson, near here.
Mrs. Bromander was born March 4, 1866, in Sweden. She came to the United States and the Whiting community 57 years ago. She was a member of the Covenant Mission church at Albaton and of the Ladies Aid society of that church.
Surviving besides the daughter are three sons, Hugo of Ulen, Minn., Elmer of Sloan, Ia., and Albin of Whiting; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Gustafson of Sioux City, and three brothers, Emil Magnuson of Sloan and two living in Sweden.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Covenant Mission church at Albaton. Rev. J. Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery at Sloan. Pearson's funeral home at Onawa has charge of arrangements
