MRS. J. G. ENLOE

Mrs. J. G. Enloe died on Christmas Day, 1987, at one o’clock in the afternoon. She was a resident of the Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury Health Center in Irvington, Virginia.

Rena Enloe was known to many Onawa residents and was the maternal grandmother of Mrs. D. M. House. She was affectionately called “Moma” by her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Jonteel and Derwin House. Their Iowa friends and hers also referred to her as “Moma”.

Two daughters survive her, Mrs. F. E. Finney of Virginia and Mrs. E. E. Adler of Missouri as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Transcriber’s note: Birth year per SSDI via Ancestry.com. Virginia Find A Grave gives her full name as Rena Bailes Enloe. According to census records she was married to John Gilbert Enloe (1862-1914 per South Carolina Find A Grave records.)
