Jeff M. Zediker, 48, of Overton, Neb., died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at his home in Overton, following a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer.
He was born October 18, 1962, at Battle Creek to Clark and Dorothy (Pyle) Zediker. Jeff attended school at Mapleton and worked as a carpenter contractor his entire working career. Jeff was one of those men who could fix anything.

He was united in marriage to Tammie Martinez on August 23, V003, at Mapleton. The couple moved to Lexington 2004.

Jeff had a heart of gold and enjoyed making people laugh and bringing joy to children at Christmas time. He always dressed up as Santa and brought gifts to the children who needed them the most. He loved writing poetry and had a poem selected for publishing in Poems of the Western World. He enjoyed drawing, Harley Davidson motorcycles, camping, the 4th of July, and spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife: Tammie Zediker of Overton, Neb.; one daughter, Brianna Zediker of Iowa; his mother, Dorothy Zediker of Mapleton; one brother, Clark (Rene) Zediker of Denison; three sisters, Linda, Chris and Tracy of Denison.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father and a niece, Hope Marie Hanson.
