KEVIN G. SCHUMACHER

Kevin G. Schumacher, 19 years, 4 months and 26 days, of Battle Creek, Iowa, died Wednesday of injuries suffered in a two-vehicle accident in Sioux City.

Mr. Schumacher was born Jun 22, 1968, in Sioux City and was raised in the Battle Creek area. He graduated from Battle Creek High School where he was active in football. He presently was attending Western Iowa Tech Community College where he was studying agriculture mechanics.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Betty Schumacher of Battle Creek; two sisters, Mrs. Jeff (Kathy) Preston of Sioux City and Karen at home; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Wieling of Danbury; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schumacher of Onawa.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother.

The Rosary was recited on Friday, November 20, 1987, at the Walter Chapel. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Danbury. The Rev. James Tigges and the Rev. Raymond Wieling officiated.

Pallbearers were Sean Blackmore, Lance Luscombe, Jay Vermeys, Chuck Schumann, Todd Tollufsen and Rob McBride. Honorary Group was Battle Creek High School Class of 1987.

Interment was in Danbury Catholic Cemetery Walter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
