ARTHUR BENSON CUTLER

Arthur Benson Cutler, 96, a Whiting area farmer for many years, passed away September 23, 1987 at Denver, Colo., where he and his wife had resided in Autumn Heights Nursing Home the last ten years.

He was born March 27, 1891 at Whiting to Daniel and Elmyra (Dudley) Cutler. He was the youngest of ten children. On May 27, 1917 he married Emma May Ruth at Whiting. Of this marriage one daughter, Ruth Le Verne was born.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 70 years, Emma May, 96; daughter Ruth Hileman, Denver, Colo.; granddaughter, Audrey Norton, Grand Lake, Colo.; grandson, Merlin Hileman, Garden Grove, Calif.; and four great grandsons, Michael and David Hileman, Garden Grove, Calif. and Richard and Don Campbell of Grand Lake, Colo.

Arthur and Emma moved from Whiting area to Blair, Nebr. in the early 1940’s where they farmed nearby. In 1951, Arthur retired from farming and moved to the town of Blair, Nebr. where he built their home. During the winters of the 1950’s, Arthur and Emma enjoyed traveling the southwestern states.

In 1955 they purchased a home in Denver, Colo. where they lived until 1977 when they moved to their daughter Ruth and her husband Delbert Hileman’s home at 1698 S. Newton, Denver, Colo. 80219. One year later, both were admitted to Autumn Heights Nursing Home, 3131 S. Federal Blvd., Denver, Colo. 80236.

Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Denver, Colo.
