C. EMMA MOHR

C. Emma Mohr, 94, of Mapleton died Tuesday, September 29, 1987 in a nursing home in Mapleton.

Mrs. Mohr, the former c. Emma Hansen, was born April 11, 1893, in Germany. She married Henry Mohr October 10, 1919, in Germany. The couple came to the United States and to Mapleton in 1930 where they lived until 1951 when they moved to Fort Dodge. In 1972 they returned to Mapleton. He died in 1974.

Mrs. Mohr was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Mapleton.

Survivors include a son, Erick of Tequesta, Fla.; a brother, Otto in German; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 1987 in Walter Funeral Home in Mapleton. The Rev. Les Kimball officiated. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
