RETTA E. HENDERSON

Retta E. Henderson passed away at the home of her daughter in Oregon, Illinois. She was a resident of Moorhead, Iowa, for 70 years until 1965. She then went to live with her daughter.

She was born in Kansas, January 21, 1886, and passed from this life July 13, 1987, at the age of 101 years. She was united in marriage to William J. Henderson. To this union five children were born.

Her husband and two sons preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing one son, Vick Henderson of Sturgis, S.D.; and two daughters, Elva Davis of Onaway, Ia. and Vada Wood of Oregon, Ill.; thirteen grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 17 great great grandchildren.

Family graveside services were held at Spring Valley Cemetery at Moorhead, Ia.
