WALLACE L. ROCK

Wallace L. Rock, 78, of #8 Clayton Drive, Saco, Maine, formerly of Onawa, passed away July 7, 1987, at Southern Maine Medical in Biddeford, Maine, following an illness of six months.

He was born August 30, 1908, in Kenmare, N.D., and married Ruth S. Reynolds on April 8, 1940, in Ray, N.D. The family moved to Onawa in 1953, where Wallace was employed by Wilbur Nielsen Construction Company until his retirement. In 1984 the couple moved to Saco, Maine.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of Saco; two sons, John of Sterling, Va. and James of Saco; four grandchildren; one brother, LeRoy “Dutch” Rock of Onawa; and three sisters, Mrs. Herman (Helen) Peterson and Mrs. John (Leone) Schmitz, both of Williston, N.D., and Mrs. Melvin (Gladys) McCormick, of Tioga, N.D.

Memorial services were held July 13, 1987, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Saco.
