WARREN W. STRUBLE

Warren W. “Pat” Struble, 70, former president and chairman of Anderson Equipment Co., died Saturday, April 11, 1987 at a Council Bluffs hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Struble worked for the Anderson Co., and Omaha distributor of construction machinery from 1959 to 1984.

He was born in Castana and lived most of his life in the Council Bluffs area. Mr. Struble, of Route 4, was a member of the Cobia Masonic Lodge, Ducks Unlimited, the National Rifle Association and Lakeshore Country Club.

His wife, Leora, died in 1982.

Surviving are a son, Layland L. of Maple Grove, Minn., and a daughter, Linda Frase of Vashon, Wash.

Also surviving are sisters, Blanche Poulosky of Onawa, Mildred Amanson and Jennie Noftsger, both of Lamoni and Thelma Miller of Castana; brothers, Edward and Ivan, both of Castana and Conn of Denver; and five grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday, April 14, 1987 at Meyer Funeral Home, with Elder Floyd A. Vallier of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating. Burial was in Hazel Dell Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
