Services Held Saturday for Harold C Worrell

Funeral services for Harold C Worrell, 67, Whiting farmer who died at Jacksonville, Fla, while visiting a daughter there, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Congregational Church at Whiting. Rev Dwight Snesud officiated and Masonic graveside rites were at the Harrison Cemetery. The Wood Funeral Home of Whiting was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Worrell was a member of the Monona County Farm Bureau and was on the Monona County Extension Council for several years. He was a member and past master of Weston Lodge, A.F. and A.M. and was past patron of the Whiting Order of Eastern Star. He belonged to the Whiting Congregational Church.

He was born June 18, 1893 in Carroll, Ia. and came to Whiting from West Liberty, Ia. in 1910. He graduated from the Onawa High School in 1911. He married Edith J Tillson December 25, 1916. She died last August.

Survivors include his father, C P Worrell of Whiting; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth F Clayton of Jacksonville, Fla.: a son Robert T of Grand Junction, Colo.; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Marquerite Mayne of Oswego, Ore.
