ONAWA, Iowa | William "Bill" Miller, 45, of Onawa died Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, with the Rev. Monty McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Jordan Cemetery, rural Soldier, Iowa. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Rush Family Chapel in Onawa.

William LeRoy was born on Sept. 30, 1968, in Omaha, Neb., the son of Thomas James and Kathy (Stevens) Miller. He grew up in Onawa and graduated from West Monona High School in 1987.

He was employed at the family business, Miller Furniture Store in Onawa, until 1994, at which time he then was employed by AGP for 13 years until he became disabled in 2007 due to medical reasons.

Bill and Denise Schrunk were united in marriage on Nov. 17, 1989, in Sioux City. Two children were born to this union, Seth and Samantha.

Bill enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and watching football, especially the Minnesota Vikings.

Survivors include his son, Seth (Kelsey) Miller of Onawa; his daughter, Samantha Miller of Le Mars, Iowa; his mother and stepfather, Kathy (Bill) Brink of Onawa; his granddaughter, Isabella Riley of Onawa; one sister, Margie Kay (Scott) Ginther of Overland Park, Kan.; two brothers, Carl (Janel) Miller and Tommy (Brenda) Miller, all of Onawa; one nephew, Nathan Ginther of Overland Park, Kan.; four nieces, Tasha Miller, Kendra Miller, Carly Miller and Kacy Miller, all of Onawa; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas James Miller; paternal grandparents, Carl and Ethel Miller; and maternal grandparents, Roy and Evelyn Stevens
