FREDERICK E. BARNARD

Frederick E. Barnard, of Highland Estates, DeBary, Florida, died March 2, 1987.

Mr. Barnard was a graduate of the Onawa, Iowa, High School in 1923 and a graduate of the University of Iowa in 1928. He resided in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, from 1942 to 1978, when he moved to Florida. While residing in Chippewa Falls, he was an officer of the Chippewa Falls Woolen Mill Co., and was later associated with The Cornell Corp., Cornell, Wisconsin. He was active in many civic and community affairs and was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. Prior to 1942, he had lived in Minneapolis, St. Paul and Choquet, Minnesota.

He was married to Marian R. Kilgard in 1936 who preceded him in death in 1974.

He is survived by a son, Donald J. Barnard of Sand Creek, Wisc.; a daughter, Dorothy Ann Mazzone, Eau Claire, Wisc.; and by two brothers, Donald R. Barnard, Hawarden, Ia.; and Robert R. Barnard, Owatonna, Minn.; and by a sister, Jean, Mrs. Clarence Messe, Walnut Creek, Colo.; a granddaughter, Michelle Mazzone; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Francis, who died in 1964 and a brother, William, in 1978.
