WILSON FISCUS

Wilson Fiscus was born on January 9th, 1921, the oldest son of Minnie and Carl Fiscus. He grew up and graduated from high school in Onawa, Iowa.

He met his future wife, Luella, in Sioux City and they were married on August, 15th, 1943. To this marriage, three children were born, Thomas, Carla (deceased in 1975), and Jaynee. He drove a truck over the road for a while and then began working as a heavy equipment mechanic and moved his family to Omaha in 1961 from Onawa. After his family was grown, he and Mom moved to Fort Calhoun, where they were going to retire. He made friends wherever he went and as one friend put it, was “A constant source of amusement”. He enjoyed fishing and talking with his friends at the Longhorn. We all loved him and will miss him a great deal, especially Mom.

Services were held January 2, 1987, at 1:00 p.m. with Everett Epperson officiating. Sievers Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
