Grant Zediker, son of Ambrose and Ida May Zediker, was born May 30, 1894 a t Mapleton, Iowa, where he lived his entire life. He was married to Edna Kurth Feb. 9, 1915 in Mapleton.
She preceded him in death. On June 22, 1929, he was married to Lucy Kopp, who also preceded him in death. On July 2, 1953, he was married to Ella Henshen at Onawa, Iowa. He had done carpenter work in this community all of his life. Mr. Zediker died May 30, 1957 at the Onawa hospital on his 63rd birthday.

He is survived by his wife, Ella, one son, Ivan, of Sioux City, one daughter, Clarissa Ann, of Mapleton; two step daughters, Esther Davis of Des Moines and Florence Housh of Sioux City; four stepsons, Richard Kopp of Des Moines, Laverne Henshen of Sioux City, Clarence and Norman of Mapleton; one grandson, two brothers, Racy and George, of Mapleton; one sister, Mrs. Clarissa Smith of Odebolt.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, two sisters, one brother and his parents. Pallbearer s were Arnold Zediker, Kelly Smith, John Zediker, Clark Zediker, James Zediker and Maurice Zediker.
