Service Held Fri. For Edna Zediker

Edna Ferol Zediker, daughter of Clark and Elizabeth (Peacock ) Muckey, was born September 8,
1896 at Mapleton, Iowa, and died Tuesday, February 12, 1974 at a Battle Creek, Iowa, hospital. She had reached the- age of 77 years, 5 months and 4 days.

Mrs. Zediker was a lifetime resident of the Mapleton and Castana communities. She married George Zediker December 24, 1913 at Sioux City, Iowa. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, the Royal Neighbors and a Past Noble Grand of the Rebekah Lodge of which she was a 50 year member.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Russell (Yvonne) McDonald of Castana and Mrs. William (Maxine) Baker of Fair Oak, California; three sons Arnold of Sioux City, Clark of Danbury and George of Burlington, Washington: three brothers; Clark Muckey of Anaheim, California, James of Tenabone, Oregon, and Paul of Everett, Washington: three sisters; Mrs. Leslie (Dollie) Magnuson of Schaller, Iowa, Mrs. Helen Wiley of Denver, Colorado, and Mrs. Lewis (Pauline) Kraemer of Everett, Washington; 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 15, 1974 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church at Mapleton, Iowa. Rev. John Hall officiated and burial was in Heisler Cemetery at Mapleton.

Pallbearers were James McDonald, Joel Zediker, Clark Zediker, Avery Zediker, Arnold Zediker and Steve Zediker.
