George J. Seibold Jr. age 78 of Sioux City, Iowa died Sunday, August 19. 1990, at Clock Tower Village in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Walter Funeral Home in Mapleton with Rev.
Mark Smeltzer officiating. Burial was in the Heisler Cemetery in Mapleton with military graveside rites by the American Legion Loren Hollister Post 496 of Mapleton. Visitation was after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Mr. Seibold was born May 10, 1912 in Danbury, the son of George and Anna (Kahout) Seibold. He served In the Army during World War II and was later in the Naval Reserve.

He married Myrna Kenny July 25, 1935 at Mapleton. He worked for Haubrich Construction in Mapleton. In 1963 the couple moved to Sioux City. His wife died January 16, 1988.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter, Barbara Ann, two sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Sylvia Jean) Fuller, Mrs. Ronald (Rose) Barnes and Mrs. Sharon Saul, all of Sioux City; five sons, Arden Ray, Ronald Lee, Robert
LeRoy, David Alan and Donald Eugene, all of Sioux City: 29 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandchildren, Ronald Seibold, David Seibold, Michael Seibold, Steven Seibold, Rick Seibold, Stuart Seibold, Greg Seibold, Brian Seibold, DeWayne Fuller, Scott Fuller, Jon Fuller, Mike Saul, James Barnes and Jody Barnes.
