Anna Margaret Schneekloth, the daughter of Wilhelm and Ann (Denker) Schneekloth was born July 18, 1887 in Germany. She died at the Mapleton nursing home on November 29, 1977 having reached the age of 90 years, 4 months and 11 days.
In 1891 at the age of 3 she came to the United States with her parents. They settled on a farm near Mapleton where she lived her entire life. Due to her health she entered the Mapleton nursing home seven years ago.
She was a charter member of the St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Mapleton and was a member of the Women's Fellowship in her church.
Services were held December 2, 1977 at 10:30 a.m. with Homer Perry officiating at the St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Mapleton, Iowa. Burial was in the Heisler Cemetery at Ute.
Casketbearers were Glenn Marsh, Gregg Marsh, James Engle, Gail Gosch, Frank Schrunk and Herman Schneekloth.
She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Alwine Christiansen of Mapleton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
