Funeral Held for Mrs. O'Conner, Twin Sister of L. Zediker

Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas O'Connor, 78-year-old resident of Ida Grove and a twin sister of Louis Zediker of Mapleton, who passed away June I8 after having been in failing health for five or six years, were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Methodist church here with Rev. G. W. Dunn, pastor of the Methodist church at Ida Grove, officiating. Interment was in Heisler cemetery.

Short services also were conducted at the Moore Funeral home in Ida Grove at 12:30 o'clock with Rev. Dunn in charge.

Letitia Zediker was born May 29, 1857, at Spring Brook, Jackson county, Iowa, and attained her 78th birthday a few weeks ago. She was married February 14, 1883, to Thomas O'Conner in Mapleton. A son, Donald, and a daughter, Stella, died during the diphtheria epidemic of 1891. Mr. and Mrs. O'Connor moved to Ida Grove in 1906. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Mrs. O'Connor is survived by her husband, two brothers, Thomas Zediker of Colorado and Louis Zediker of Mapleton, and two sisters, Mrs. S. E. Courtney of Ida Grove and Mrs. Dora Ella O'Conner of Soldier.
