Funeral Services-Held For Murwon Bradfield Monday

Funeral services were held at 30:30 a. m. Monday. October 10, 1966, at the Walter Chapel in Mapleton for Murwon Arthur Bradfield, who died suddenly October 7, in Mapleton, at the age of 60 years, 1 month and 9 day. Rev. Leonard Rowse officiated at the services. Interment was in Heisler cemetery, Mapleton.

Pallbearers were Rowley Williams, Joe Bollig, John Newman, Lawrence Bray, Paul Pritchard, Louis Leisinger.

Mr. Bradford, the son of Eli and Estella Bradfield, was born August 28, 1906 in Mapleton. He was from a family of 7 children, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. He had lived his entire life in the Mapleton community and was a carpenter by trade.

He married Elsie Paulsen on May 11, 1929, in Sioux City. One son was born to this union.

Survivors include his son, Charles, who is in the U. S. Army and stationed in Georgia; one granddaughter; three sisters, Mrs. Roy Reichard and Mrs. Dale Blankenhorn, of Mapleton, and Mrs. Marjorie Schoenherr of Blencoe; one brother, Charles, of Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
