Funeral services were held last Thursday afternoon for Luther Bueoy who died suddenly at his farm home. Rev. Edward Pruitt was in charge of the services at the residence and the grave in Heisler cemetery where burial was made.
Mr. Bueoy was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bueoy, pioneers of this section, who have since passed away. His father died six years ago while his mother died two years ago.
The parents came to Mapleton when the town was being founded and were numbered among the hardy pioneers of that period. Both came in covered wagons, the father from Indiana, and the mother from southern Iowa,
