Mrs. Amy Parks Woodward, 78, a resident of the Ticonic and Rodney vicinity since 1893, died at her home Sept. 7. Mrs. Woodward was born Feb. 9, 1877 at Danbury.

She was married to Rolla D. Woodward Feb. 14, 1893 at Rodney he preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Ticonic Methodist church.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. A. H. Blakely and .Mrs. Glenn Miller, both of Ticonic, four sons, Russell, Vinton and Evans, all of Ticonic, and Mark of Minneapolis, a sister Mrs. Nellie Bentley, Sioux City, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. at the Ticonic Methodist church Friday. Rev. Worthy Usher officiated. Soloist was Evan Davies and hymns sung were "Rock of Ages" and "Nearer My God ToThee."

Pallbearers were John Skow, Darrell Larson, Loren Blakely, James McDonald, Royce Gramm and Morris Heisler.

Burial was at the Grant cemetery under the direction of the Pearson funeral home of Onawa.

Out of town relatives were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Woodward of Chicago, Paul Parks of Bronson, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Turner of Avoca, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Henderson, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Henderson, Paul Castle, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Parks, Mr. and Mrs. Don Parks, Helen and Irene Barnes, Elizabeth Parks, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Parks, Mrs. Charlie Nelson and Mrs. Ivan Potty, all of Sioux City

Out of town friends were Mrs. Rose Brigman of Sioux City, Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Rasmussen of Ida Grove, Hiram Hollister of Rodney, Mrs. Ida Griffin of Mapleton, Orville Hollister of Burbank, Calif. and McKinley West of Sioux City.
