Services held for Mrs. AL Riley

Mrs. Al Riley, 56, formerly of Smithland, died Monday, May 5, 1980 at a nursing home in Whiting.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Willman Funeral Home in Rodney. The Rev. Dale Church officiated. Burial was in Grant Township Cemetery, near Rodney.

Mrs. Riley, the former Irene Phyllis Winneke, was born February 24, 1924, in Mapleton.

She was married May 25, 1944, in Ida Grove. Mr. Riley died November 8, 1978.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Caroline Johnson in Kentucky, Mrs. Marvin (Nancy) Parker of Moville and Mrs. David (Ruby) Yanak of Onawa; a foster daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Schmid of Beresford, South Dakota: two brothers, Raymon of Sioux City and Harold of Tustin, California; seven grandchildren: and three great-grandchildren.
