Doris L. Dehn, 96, of Onawa died Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, with the Rev. Barb Hansen officiating. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.rushfamilycareservice.com.

Doris Lucille was born July 20, 1915, in Onawa, the daughter of Frank and Elsie (Hoffman) Wilkins. She attended country schools and graduated from Onawa High School.

She married Wilbur Dehn on Feb. 23, 1938, in Denison, Iowa. They made their home on a farm southeast of Onawa. Their farm was recognized in 1984 as a Century Farm. The couple moved to Onawa in October 1991. Wilbur died on March 30, 1992, in Onawa. Doris was active in the Onawa community until moving to Embassy Rehab and Care Center at Sergeant Bluff in May 2002.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Onawa.

Survivors include sisters-in-law, Maggie Dehn and Ano Wilkins, both of Onawa, and Mary (Marv) Keele of Blencoe, Iowa; a brother-in-law, George (Mary) Dehn of Blencoe; 20 nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur; two sisters and their husbands, Helen (Frank) Spearman and Irene (Charles) Funkhouser; a brother, Raymond Wilkins; and two nephews.
