Margaret Shull Heisler, a life-long resident of Monona County, died at the Onawa hospital, April 30 after an illness of several weeks.

Mrs. Heisler was born at Mapleton. March 25, 1871. She had been a resident of Ticonic since 1902.

When a young women she became a member of the Christian church. She belonged to the Women's Society of Christian Service of the Ticonic Methodist church and the Grant Cemetery Society

In 1895 she was united in marriage with John Thomas Heisler who preceded her in death in 1931

To t his union were born six sons Warren of Castana, John of Mapleton, Evans of Sioux City, Marchmont of Smithland, and Morris and Vernon o f Ticonic; two daughters, Margie of Ticonic and Mrs. Mary Thomson of Elk Point. Other survivors include three brothers, Harry Shull and Will Shull of Castana, Harley of Hornick, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 2 a t the Ticonic Methodist church with Rev. Everett Epperson officiating, Evan Davies was the soloist.

Pallbearers were, Melvin Woodward, Evan B Woodward, Charlie Larson, Paul Cox, Glen Miller and Leslie Maynard.

Burial was in the Grant cemetery.
