Funeral services for John B. Flynn, 52, Hornick farmer, were held Friday, at 2:00 p. m. at t he Rodney, Iowa United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Carl Jensen officiating. Burial was in the Grant Cemetery near Rodney under the direction of the Willman Funeral Home of Rodney.

Mr. Flynn died unexpectedly Wednesday at his home

Pallbearers were Waldo Lundeen, William Fouls, Rex Persinger, Leslie Maynard, LaDean Hagerdon and Dean Miller.

He was born April 18, 1914, near Rodney and had lived in the Rodney area his entire life. He married LaVerne Shoning February 21,1938. in South Dakota.

Survivors include the widow: three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Sandra) Comstock of McCook Lake, So. Dak., Miss Chris Flynn of Omaha, and Miss Jerri Flynn at home: two sons, John of Ames, and Rodney at home; a brother Leonard of Correctionville; four sisters, Mrs. Marie Hartigan and Mrs. Daniel (Helen) Hartigan, both of Ute, Iowa, Mrs. Wilbur (Agnes) Davis of Sioux City, and Mrs. Wayne (Dorothy) Pritchard of Sioux Fall, So. Dak. and three grandchildren.
