Neva LaVaune Blakely, four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Blakely of Grant Center, died Thanksgiving morning of scarlet fever and complications. She had been sick for about three weeks. Burial was made Thursday afternoon in Grant Cemetery, the funeral being private. She was a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Christensen of Mapleton.
