Hold Services For Joseph Flammang

Joseph Michael Flammang son of Anna Kenkel and Peter Flammang, was
born February 8, 1911 at Mapleton. He married Louise Kipp on January 3, 1929 at Mapleton. To this union was born two daughters and four sons. He lived his entire life in the Mapleton vicinity. He farmed and worked for Booth and Olson Construction. He died on April 21, 1976 in Mapleton. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.

Rosary was held Friday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Walter Chapel in Mapleton.
Services were held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 1976 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mapleton with Father Bruch officiating.

Burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tony Jacoby, Danny Fitzpatrick, Kenny Flammang, Donald
Flammang, Eugene Kipp and Wilbur McNear.

Survivors include: wife, Louise; two daughters, Mrs. Jerome(Angela) Fischer of
Wagner, South Dakota and Mrs. Allen (Joella) Bingo of Cucamonga, Calif,; four
sons, Dick of Sioux City, Gerald of Paramount, Calif., LeRoy of Gardena, Calif.,
Cecil of Sioux City, 14 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; five sisters, Mrs.
Margaret Bolster of Davenport, Mary Uhl of Mapleton Ann Mulnchworth of Rocky Ford, Canada, Mrs. Dora (John) Heisler of Mapleton, Mrs. Lena Kipp of LeMars, and one brother, Anton of Ontario, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and five brothers.
