Services Held April 21 For Eva Satterlee

Eva Mildred Satterlee, daughter of Rufus and (Mary Alice Farmer) Shaver, was
born August 24, 1898 at Mapleton, Iowa. She lived with her parents until marriage.
In 1923 she married James Satterlee at Mapleton, Iowa.

Eva was a member of the United Methodist Church at Mapleton and also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Mapleton No. 300. She worked for the W .A . Proctors General Store and later worked for the Kraft Clothing Store in Mapleton for 30 years. She had made her home at the Maple Heights Nursing Home in Mapleton for the last four years.

Eva died on Easter Sunday, April 18, 1976 at Maple Heights Nursing Home
having reached the age of 77 years, 7 months and 24 days.

Services were held on Wednesday, April 21, 1976 at 10:30 a.m. at the Walter
Chapel in Mapleton, Iowa with Rev. John Hall officiating.

Burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Mapleton, Iowa.

She is survived by her brother, Mr. Viron Shaver of Sioux City, Iowa; and
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and five brothers.

Pallbearers were E.J. LeFebvre, Merle Davis, Carl Moe, Walter Babl, Lavern
McVicker, and Clifford LeFebvre
