Minnie E Gibbs
Minnie E. Gibbs, 90, 1818 W. 6th Street, died Thursday in her home after sudden illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Christy Morningside Funeral Home. The Rev. Herbert C. Peak, Jr., of the First Assembly of God Church will officiate. Burial will be in Whiting Cemetery in Whiting. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today.

Mrs. Gibbs, the former Minnie Nelson was born Dec 30, 1893 in Blair, Nebr. She lived in Allen, Nebr. for several years before moving to Sioux City in 1936. She married John Gibbs April 24, 1940. He died in August 1963 in Sioux City.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Ladies Auxiliary of Edward H. Monahan American Legion Post 64.

Survivors include a brother, Elmer Nelson of LeMars.
