20 March 1919Clyde LeRoy Allison died March 7 1919, at his home in Council Bluffs, after a six months illness of tuberculosis, at the age of 28 years and six months. The deceased was born and grew to manhood at Blencoe, Iowa. He answered the call of his country in September 1917, was stationed at Camp Dodge, Iowa, serving three weeks after which he received an honorable discharged, having a teabone fracture of the arm. He had been in ill health since November 1918, but was not regarded serious until the last two weeks. Funeral services were held at the Dodge Memorial Church 32nd Str., Council Bluffs March 12. Interment was made in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. He leaves a father, mother and five brothers to mourn his loss.
