Moorhead, Iowa—Clara E. Hieber, 81, of Moorhead died Sunday in a hospital in Onawa after a brief illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead. The Rev. Paul Birkedal will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Valley Cemetery, near Moorhead. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. today with a prayer service at 7 p.m. in the Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa.

Mrs. Hieber, the former Clara Kuhlmann, was born November 21, 1903 in Charter Oak. She was raised in the Charter-Oak- Ricketts area.

She married Wilbur H. Bouslaugh July 21, 1921. He died Feb. 4, 1934, in Sioux City. She married Lawrence E. Hieber December 24, 1936, in Elk Point, S.D. They made their home in Castana and Fremont, Nebr., moving to Moorhead in 1946. He died Feb. 3, 1892 in Onawa.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Everett (Doris) of Denver; a son, Keith Hieber of Moorhead; five grandchildren; three great- grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
