TURIN, Iowa -- Judith "Judi" Ann Jordan, 67, of Turin passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting, Iowa.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church in Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Barb Hansen officiating. There will be no burial. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa. Online condolences may be posted at www.rushfamilycareservice.com.

Judith "Judi" Ann was born Oct. 12, 1943, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Fred and Fern (Jacobsen) Wittig. She was raised in Omaha and graduated from Omaha Central High School in 1961. After graduation, she was employed at Clarkson Hospital until her marriage.

Judith and Fran Jordan were united in marriage on Oct. 17, 1964, in Omaha. They made their home in Onawa for a few years before moving to their farm north of Turin at "Arcola." Judi and Fran owned and operated Jordan Tree Farm for more than 40 years, selling Christmas trees to the local community. Judi worked at various businesses in Onawa.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and WELCA. Judi was a Cub Scout leader when her sons were young. She adored her family and attending their various activities. She also found time for painting, gardening, enjoying nature and the animals around her.

Survivors include her husband, Fran of Turin; her sons and their wives, Scott and Alison Jordan and their family, Sean and Kaitlyn of Turin, and Shane and Heather Jordan and their family, Zachary, Brady and Kayla of Redfield, S.D.; her mother, Fern Wittig of Whiting; and her special dog friend, Rocky.

She was preceded in death by her father.
