ONAWA, Iowa -- Pearl Margaret Wilson, 90, of Missouri Valley, Iowa, formerly of Onawa, passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at Longview Care Center in Missouri Valley.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley, with the Rev. Stephen Pera officiating. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Onawa Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley.

Pearl was born Sept. 26, 1920, in Onawa, to Chris W. and Irma M. (Beth) Christensen. She graduated from Onawa High School with the class of 1938.

She was married to William F. Wilson on Feb. 10, 1940, in Onawa. Pearl was the office manager for Concrete Aggregate and Peters Construction Company for more than 30 years.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley, American Legion Auxiliary 129 of Onawa, and Fraternal Order of Eagles 2270 of Onawa.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Ann Coberly and her husband, Kenneth of Missouri Valley; brothers, Ralph Christensen and his wife, Bernadine of Onawa, and Raymond Christensen and his wife, Cathy of Grosse Point Woods, Mich.; a brother-in-law, David Halliday of Tarkio, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William F. Wilson; a son and daughter-in-law, William G. and Helen Wilson; sisters, Adele Christensen, Viola Christensen in infancy, and Bernice Halliday; and a brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Betty Christensen.

Pallbearers will be Tony Selk, Joshua Coberly, Michael Greene, Steve Wilson, William D. Wilson and Greg Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Coberly and Kevin Coberly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley.
