BLENCOE, Iowa -- Craig W. Johnson, 56, Lincoln, Neb., formerly of Blencoe, passed away in Lincoln.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, Iowa. Private family graveside services will be at a later date in Ingemann Cemetery, where Craig will be laid to rest beside his dad. Condolences may be sent online to www.rushfamilycareservice.com.

Craig was born March 23, 1954, in Onawa, Iowa, the oldest of three children born to John W. and Maurine (Nikoleisen) Johnson. Craig attended school in Holstein, Iowa, and Arlington, Neb., before moving to Lincoln, where he spent the majority of his adult life as a carpenter.

Survivors include his son, Ian of Lincoln; a sister, Betheen (Johnson-McClure) Wagner and her husband, Ed of Onawa; a brother, Bruce Johnson of Sergeant Bluff; two nieces, Teressa (Jeremy) Irwin and their daughter, Natasha of Clare, Iowa, and Tiffany McClure of Kearney, Neb.; an aunt, Phyllis Mander of Onawa; an uncle, Dick Johnson of California; along with many cousins, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Johnson; and his mother and stepfather, Maurine and Irvin Frisk.
