Ute, Iowa—Wayne R. Adair, 68, Ute, died Feb. 2 at his home after an apparent heart attack.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 4 at the Walter Funeral Home in Ute. The Rev. Douglas Wroe, pastor of Seventh-day Adventist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Bowman Grove Cemetery near Guthrie Center.

Mr. Adair was born May 23, 1907, in Exira. He moved with his mother to Kansas while a teen-ager. He later moved to Atlantic where he married Bessie Christiansen May 23, 1928.

He was employed by Northern Natural Gas Co. for 30 years at Paullina and Oakland. He retired in 1962 and moved to Ute.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Roger of Chicago; and two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Esther) McDermott and Mrs. Harvey (Bernice) Peterson, both of Atlantic.
