Glen W. Adcock, 74, of Tallahasse, Florida, and formerly of Sioux City, died Friday, April 29, 1994 in Tallahasse.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Culley’s Meadowwood Chapel, Timberlane Road in Tallahassee. Burial will be in Culley’s Meadowwood Memorial Park.

Mr. Adcock was born in Sioux City. He graduated from East High School and Morningside College. He served in the Army for four years during World War II. He lived in Blencoe, Iowa, eight years while he worked in the Blencoe Bank and operated Adcock Insurance Agency. He then moved to Largo, Florida, where he was an original owner of Largo Lanes. He was the first manager of East Bay Country Club and later became manager of Clearwater Country Club. He participated in sports and was a sports enthusiast. He was a member of the South Eastern Seniors Golf Association, American Rose Society and the Club Managers Association of America. He had lived in Tallahassee the last seven years.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene; a daughter, Cynthia A. Booth of Palm Harbor, Florida; his mother, Grace Addock of Safety Harbor, Flo; a sister, Dorothy Aspleaf of Sioux City; and a granddaughter, Christina Booth of Palm Harbor.
