Lyle Floyd Adams, 38 years old, a former resident of Onawa, was stricken suddenly ill on Wednesday, February 15, 1956, while he was working at Santjan Terrace, west of Sweet Home, Oregon, and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Langmack hospital. Funeral services were held on Saturday.

Mr. Adams was born in Onawa, Iowa, February 12, 1917 and is survived by his mother and stepfather, who live at Sweet Home, Oregon. He is also survived by five sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Gill and stepfather, Charles Gill, Sweet Home, Oregon; five sisters, Mrs. Beulah Shearer, Little Sioux, Iowa, Mrs. Evelyn Polly, Whiting, Iowa, Mrs. Vera Cogdill, Onawa , Iowa, Mrs. Mildred Baldwin, Ouxard, California, Mrs. Helen Jones, Sweet Home, Oregon, three brothers, Newell of Springfield, Oregon, Merle of Portland, Oregon and Roland of Sweet Home, Oregon.

Mrs. Alfred Shearer, who attended the funeral of her brother, returned to her home in Little Sioux, Iowa last Saturday.
