ONAWA, Iowa -- Faye M. Brown, 48, Onawa passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church in Onawa, with the Rev. Jason Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery, Turin, Iowa. Visitation will be 8 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa. Faye Marie Brown was born Feb. 8, 1962, in Onawa, the daughter of Syril and Mardelle (Oatman) Brown. She was raised on a farm south of Turin, Iowa and graduated from West Monona High School in 1980. She later received both a legal secretary and accounting degree.

Faye and Rusty Mauch were united in marriage and blessed with three children. The couple were later divorced. She worked at various locations at Onawa, Sioux City and Omaha.

She enjoyed her family, shopping, scrap booking, sewing, reading and sight seeing on short drives. She was confirmed and a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Travis Mauch; two daughters, Ashlee and Mollie Mauch, all of Onawa; her mother, Mardelle Brown of Onawa; a sister and her husband, Christy and Bob Bowers of Golden, Colo.; and three brothers, Todd and Dave (Sherri Streeter), all of Onawa and Jeff of Turin.

She was preceded in death by her father.
