.MOORHEAD, Iowa -- Georgia Grace (Rustin) Hinkel, 95, of Moorhead died on Sunday, April 18, 2010, at the Dunlap Nursing and Rehab Center in Dunlap, Iowa.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Moorhead Christian Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the church. Fouts Funeral Home of Woodbine, Iowa is in charge of arrangements.

She was raised in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High School. Grace married William Hinkel on June 15, 1935. Grace worked for the Moorhead Cafe and West Central Development Head Start.

Grace was a member of the Moorhead Christian Church, where she served as a deaconess. She was also a member of the Peter A. Hanson American Legion Auxiliary. Grace was the queen of the Moorhead Centennial in 2000. Grace enjoyed gardening and having a cup of coffee with family and friends.

She is survived by her four children, Ronald "Ray" (Janet) Hinkel of Sioux City, Marilyn (Francis) Mumm of Dunlap, Iowa, Janet Hinkel of Moorhead, and Joyce Hinkel of Council Bluffs, Iowa; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 12 great-stepgrandchildren; four great-great-stepgrandchildren; sisters-in-law, Delores Rustin of Whiting, Iowa, Virgil Hinkel of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Vivian Hinkel of Missouri Valley, and Carol Hinkel of Toole, Utah.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Hinkel on July 18, 1966; an infant grandson; four brothers, John, Carl, Earl and Morris Rustin; and two sisters, Adah Welliver and Florence Lucas.
