Her affiliation with the church was very important in her life. She was a member of Blencoe United Church of Christ, served as deaconess and was a member of Women's Fellowship. Survivors include her husband, Irvin of Blencoe; a daughter, Betheen McClure of Sergeant Bluff; two sons, Bruce Johnson of Sergeant Bluff, and Craig Johnson of Blencoe; two stepdaughters and their husbands, Nancy and Mike McClure of Tekamah, Neb., and Karen and Tim Lawson of Blair, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Mander of Onawa; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Note: Services will be at Blencoe United Church of Christ. Saturday's paper incorrectly indicated a different church.
