BLENCOE, Iowa -- Dola Belle Collison, 70, of Blencoe died Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Blencoe United Church of Christ, with the Rev. John Noer officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, Iowa.

Dola Belle was born April 19, 1936, in Arapahoe, Neb., the daughter of Ralph and Leta (Livingston) Stoll. She moved with her family to Blencoe, where she attended school and graduated from Blencoe High School. Later, she attended Commercial Extension Business School until her employment with Blencoe State Bank, where she retired after 35 plus years of service.

She was united in marriage to Delbert Collison on Nov. 25, 1956, at Blencoe United Church of Christ. The couple farmed and raised their family in the Blencoe area. She had been a resident of Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting, Iowa, the past year.

She was a member of Blencoe United Church of Christ, Community Pinochle Club and bowled on the Blencoe State Bank team. She enjoyed rural living and helping with the farm work including raising chickens. She also enjoyed knitting and latch hooking.

Survivors include her husband, Delbert of Blencoe; two sons, Rogene of Ida Grove, Iowa, and Ronald and his wife, Pamela of Rowley, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Cathy (Michael) Sis of Bellevue, Neb.; grandchildren, Megan (Michael) Cook of Carnavon, Iowa, Christina and Rebecca Sis of Bellevue, Neb., Michael J., Nathan and Wesley Sis of Boise, Idaho, and Benjamin, Anna and Sarah Collison of Rowley, Iowa; a great-grandchild, Taylor Cook of Carnavon, Iowa; a brother and his wife, Johnny and Carol Stoll of Coralville, Iowa; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Roger.
