Mrs. I.N. Miller Longtime Resident of This Area, Dies

Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Miller, 85, died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ethel Nickolisen, Smithland, Iowa, after a week’s illness. She had been a resident of the Smithland and Ticonic, Iowa vicinity for 55 years.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Methodist church at Ticonic.

Surviving besides Mrs. Nickolisen is another daughter; Mrs. Dora Cox, Ticonic; four sons, Claude L and Glenn E. Miller, Ticonic; C Ernest Miller, Hornick, Iowa and E.H. Miller, Sioux City; 26 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Wright, Texan, Texas and Mrs. Allie Wight, Onawa, Iowa; three brothers, James Tresham, McMinnville, Ore., Charles, North Plains, Ore, and Ivan, Hornick, Iowa. Her husband, I.N. Miller died June 29, 1930.

The Willman Funeral Home, Rodney, was in charge of arrangements. Date for the funeral has not been set.
