Sioux Falls, S.D.--Georgia “Jo” Kinsley, 73, of Sioux Falls died Friday, May 3, 1991, in a Sioux Falls hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church, with Dr. N. Gayle Fischer officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Onawa, Iowa, city cemetery. Visitation with the family present , will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and Sunday at the Miller Funeral Home in Sioux Falls.

Mrs. Kinsley, the former Georgia O’Connor, was born Nov. 13, 1917, at Onawa, daughter of George and Ethel (Burrell) O’Connor. She married Wayne H. Kinsley December 12, 1935, at Elk Point, S.D. They lived in Onawa until moving to Sioux Falls in 1942. She was a salesperson at Fantle’s Dept. Store for 25 years and later worked at the Michael’s Store. She retired in 1987, Mr. Kinsley died in 1988 in Sioux Falls.

She was a member of First Christian Church, the Knit Wits, the Quilter’s Guild, the Irish Club, and was a volunteer for McKennan Hospital and R.S.V.P. She was a Coca Cola memorabilia collector.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Beverly) McCauley and Mrs. Larry (Jeane) Kannenberg, both of Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Richard (Colleen) Helmsetter of Plano, Texas; a brother, John O’Connor of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; three sisters, Mabel Thompson of Harris, Iowa and Wava Casperson and Mildred Peterson, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ida Nuzym and Alice Baker.
