Nell Marie (Judy) Gustin, 61, of Onawa, Iowa died Wednesday, January 3, 2001, at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

She was born January 13, 1939, at Decatur, Neb., the daughter of Karl Eldred and Cathryn Annabelle (Neitzel) Donohoe. She attended school in Omaha. On November 27, 1959, she married Donald Gustin in Denver, Co. The couple made their home in Blair, Ne., moving to Valentine, Ne, in 1966, and later to Onawa, Iowa, in 1983.

She was affiliated with the Baptist Church and attended the Evangelical Free Church in Onawa.

Survivors include her husband, Donald of Onawa; three sons, William and friend, Janye of Onawa, Mitchell and friend, Ramona of Story City, Iowa, and Edward and his wife, Cyndea of Onawa; one daughter, Deena and friend, Jeff of Onawa; five granddaughters and two grandsons; her mother, Cathryn Donohoe, of Omaha, Ne and one sister, Karlene Peek and her husband, Chuck of Austin.

She was preceded in death by her father, one son, Terry and one granddaughter Angel.

Memorial Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2001, at the Pearson Funeral Chapel, Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor David Montecuollo officiating. The organist was Alice Masters and the soloist, Annette Sorenson, sang the selections “You Are My Sunshine” and “In The Garden”.

Honorary Bearers were Mike Collison, Chris Collison, Jeremy Hinkel, Alvin Baragar, Brad Baragar and Tom Johnson.

Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa, with arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Onawa.
